Very good intro to basic speed reading techniques. Evelyn Wood became famous when Pres. Kennedy revealed that he had classes using her method and got his reading speed at higher rates. The “larynx thing”is called subvocalization and it is a known drag to speed reading. Great video
sorry, but that’s bullshit. the eye does not send information to the larynx… lol…. i hope this guy doesn’t actually believe this.

If you are reading, say, a psychology book, there may not be a definite picture to see. So, this doesn’t always work, but I guess it’s good for lighter reading. Besides, the more you read, the faster you read anyway.
