Just tried a method of improving reading speed by reading texts backwards. 30 minutes of exercising and I can already see an improvement.
The tip about try super speed first and then slow down eg: try an online reading test set at 1000 wpm and then try again at 500 – it seems easy. An the brain is “learning” to read faster. C
I have used a method written in my native language and my reading improved.

I went from 250 words/min to some 600 words/min which is much pleasuring
Everyone can do this,just find a method and practice once a day for as much as you like.You will like reading after all

I think it really works!! i can read 5 sentences in 3 second(on my mind), but when I read it out loud, it takes me a minute! ^^ , thank for the vid! i like it!

does speed reading work for fun reading, and just instructional. like mystery novels, sci-fi, or even the bible. can i know details when i do this, or get the meaning of poetry?
Learning how to type will drastically increase your reading speed.
Think about it.
Speed reading works for some people but not for me. I need to understand and feel every words, especially beautiful literature.

was just reading some book for school, and i taught how to increase the reading speed. And just like u said, a group of words should be read at once.
Well my way of reading is combined whith that, and also i kinda get the sped i want so my eyes just go line by line with same speed and i recognise the words. If i fail to read teh word or understand its meaning i stop. Its kinda wierd now my eyes feel veery strange, i feel a bit disoriented. It is my first speed reading attempt
